The North Field is the larger of the two fields, allowing plenty of space for camping and activities. The field contains just one building, the newly completed Toilet and Shower Block, this allows for a back to basics camp with a touch of luxury!

The field is often used for Archery alongside other activities including those in the woodland that borders the field.

The North Field can now be booked separately from the South Field.

The South Field

The south field is the smaller of the two fields but still has room for a section or Group camp or it can be used for Archery and other activities.

The south field also has car parking and the cluster of 3 buildings - the HQ used by two scout groups, the Main Hall and the Barn.

The field is bordered by woodland on two sides and there are a number of large trees marking the boundary with adjoining farmland.

It also has an external tap, camp fire circle, altar fire and wood pile.

The Building

The Main Hall provides access to the kitchen and toilets and a large indoor area.

The Scout Hall is used by two of the district's scout groups for their weekly meetings.

The kitchen has a gas cooker with 6 hobs and oven, 3 sinks and a hot water urn and has a variety of crockery, pots and pans, plus fridge and freezer. You will need to bring your own consumables including tea towels and rubbish sacks as unfortunately we don't have disposal and refuse collection facilities.

The Main Hall can be divided in 2, it is usually divided in winter to provide a seating area that can also be heated. It also has 4 folding 12-seater table and chair units for dining and craft activities.

The Main Hall's Barn Doors can be opened to provide the perfect mix of outdoor / indoor living for campers.

The toilets also provide male and female showers.

There is an outside tap.
